Weather in Phuket, Thailand

Phuket has mainly three seasons like most of the tropical islands, summer, winter and rainy season. The monsoon winds to Phuket, determines the climate in this part of Thailand. The coolest season in Phuket, is from November to February and it is also the high tourist season there. The days are warm with abundant sunshine and the nights are quite comfortable. The months of March to May in Phuket are quite hot but there is no rain during this time. You can cash in on the lower hotel rates during this time as people try to avoid the summer months. During the rainy season, from June to September it is quite comfortable. However, during this time it is not always possible to sun bathe or participate in various beach and water activities.
